The Case of Emily Pike

This week, Drewby and Yergy head down to the San Carlos Apache Reservation in Arizona to discuss the case of Emily Pike, a 14-year-old girl who was living in a group home in Mesa. However, on the evening of January 27th, 2025, dressed in a pink and gray shirt, Emily left the group home on foot. She was never seen alive again. On Valentine’s day 2025, hikers were walking a trail in the Tonto National Forest found two garbage bags that contained partial dismembered remains. Test later confirmed that the remains belonged to Emily Pike. To this day, in June of 2025, the person or persons responsible have not been brought to justice.

The Case of Gavin Peterson

This week, Drewby and Yergy head to Utah to discuss the case of Gavin Peterson, a 12-year-old boy who was murdered at the hands of his father, stepmother, and adult brother. Gavin was locked in a room without bedding or blankets, and monitored with multiple CCTV cameras. While the other siblings had carpeted floors, Gavin’s room had painted plywood. Tape was laid out in the shape of a box on the floor, and areas in his room were covered with black vomit. The box on the floor was supposed to be his bed. Gavin was starved for days and refused water despite begging for it. He consumed his own waste in an attempt to stay alive. In the end, Gavin died from sepsis, dehydration, and malnutrition. The torture he endured was so horrific that it brought the judge to tears.

The Case of Caterina Whitten

This week, Drewby and Yergy head to the Ozarks to discuss the case of Caterina Whitten, a 29-year-old woman living with Fraser syndrome, which left her blind. Caterina's father, David Whitten, adopted her from Russia as a child. He and his late wife adopted 6 disabled children and adults with an array of special needs over the years. However, when David's wife passed away, everything went to hell, and Caterina was left to die on a filthy bed where she was eaten by cockroaches.

The Case of Wadee Alfayoumi

This week, Drewby and Yergy head to the Chicago, Illinois suburb of Plainfield to discuss the case of 6-year-old Wadee Alfayoumi, a sweet and innocent little boy who was stabbed 26 times by his landlord, 71-year-old Joseph Czuba. The Case of Gemma Hayter

This week, Drewby and Yergy head back over across the pond to Ramsey, UK, to discuss the case of Gemma Hayter, a 27-year-old disabled woman who was essentially let down by the powers that be. As such, poor Gemma ended up running with the wrong crowd... a crowd that didn't have her best interests at heart. After an evening at the pub, Gemma's "friends" turned on her, which led to her brutal assault and murder the following day. Due to the striking similarities in their two cases, Gemma Hayter's case has often been compared to that of Jennifer Daugherty's case here in the USA.

The Case of Heather Baynard

This week, Drewby and Yergy head to South Carolina to discuss the sad case of Heather Baynard, a 14-year-old girl living with spastic quadriplegia, a form of cerebral palsy. Due to her condition, her 21-year-old brother, Edward, became her State sponsored caretaker. But due to the pandemic, no one actually stopped into the Baynard home to make sure that Heather was actually being taken care of. So when her parents brought her to the emergency room and plunked her down like a "sack of potatoes" and it was clear to everyone that Heather had been dead for some time, there were of course, question as to how this vulnerable teenage girl was allowed to suffer and die in such a horrific manner.
