The Case of Phoebe Jonchuck

This week, Drewby and Yergy head to the Tampa Bay area to discuss the case of Phoebe Jonchuck, a beautiful 5-year-old girl who was tossed off the Dick Misener Bridge into Tampa Bay by her then 29-year-old father, John Jonchuck. That same day, John had been suffering from religious delusions, driving all around Tampa and St. Petersburg looking for a priest to baptize him. These delusions were sparked by long term substance abuse, mental health issues, and an obsession with an antique Swedish bible.

This week, Drewby and Yergy head down to New Mexico to discuss the case of Jeremiah Valencia, a 13-year-old boy who was described as quiet kid who loved to play with the family dogs. He enjoyed music and loved the trumpet. He liked cars, sports, and Batman. Jeremiah also liked to build things, tinker with mechanics, and often had tools in his hands.  He loved the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. However, Jeremiah's home life took a dark turn when his mother, Tracy Ann Peña, became involved with Thomas Ferguson, a violent ex-con with a history of domestic and sexual violence.

The Case of Amy St. Laurent

This week, Drewby and Yergy head down I-95 to Portland to discuss the case of Amy St. Laurent, a beautiful young woman living in Southern Maine, who was abducted in plain sight on a night out in the Old Port. After two months of massive search efforts by the Portland Police Department, the Maine State Police and the Maine Warden Service, Amy was found buried in the woods off Route 22 in Scarborough.  She had been beaten, her body showed signs a sexual assault had taken place and she had been shot to death.

On the evening of November 2nd, 2007, Rowan was abducted by Christopher Collings... a man she considered to be an uncle figure. The Case of Marissa Kennedy

This week, Drewby and Yergy head over to the mid-coast to discuss the tragic case of Marissa Kennedy, a beautiful little girl living in Stockton Springs, Maine. Little Marissa died at the hands of her mother, Sharon Carrillo, and her stepfather, Julio Carrillo, after prolonged abuse. Much like the case of Logan Marr, Maine's Office of Child and Family Services dropped the ball, leaving Marissa in the care of the very people that would kill her.
