The Case of Leannah Gardipe

This week, Drewby and Yergy head to Missoula County, Montana, to discuss the case of Leannah Gardipe, a 34-year-old single of mother of two, who stabbed her two beautiful children, Namaus and Evelyn Sandberg, to death. A search of Leannah's home uncovered a bloody serrated steak knife underneath a bed, as well as a pool of blood on the floor in the little girl’s bedroom. A cryptic note was also located in the threshold of the bedroom where the children were found. It read, “IT WAS THE ONLY WAY THAT WE ALL WOULDN’T BURN, NOW I’M THE ONLY ONE OF US THAT WILL.”

The Case of Jasmine Renne Singletary Bortle

This week, Drewby and Yergy head to Bonifay, Florida, to discuss the case of 14-year-old Jasmine Renne Singletary Bortle, a teenage girl living with an unspecified neuromuscular disorder. After being admitted to Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, on July 8th, 2021, Jasmine mysteriously died in her hospital bed a few days later. After an autopsy was completed, officers with the Pensacola Police Department responded to a call from the District One Medical Examiner’s Office regarding a homicide at the hospital. It seemed that young Jasmine had sustained injuries that were akin to a person dying in a severe car crash - injuries that were not present when she was admitted. But how did that happen while she was bedridden? Police zeroed in on only one suspect - her mother, Jessica Bortle.

When Seth found his daughter dead in her crib, he called his father, who is a lawyer, before calling 911. The Case of Hazel Homan

This week, Drewby and Yergy head to Washington state to discuss the case of Hazel Homan, an adorable little girl who, like many of the children we cover on this channel, lost her life at the hands of her evil stepmother, Kamee Dixon. Hazel's injuries included: a broken leg, a broken knee, a broken hip, a broken arm, a broken finger, and fractures in her spine. Her cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head… trauma consistent with shaken baby syndrome. All the while, Hazel's father, Brandon Homan, didn't really believe that Kamee would hurt his little girl.

The Case of Aurelius Dees

This week, Drewby and Yergy head out to Las Vegas to tell the story of Aurelius Dees, a toddler who first responders found dead inside of his suburban home. Aurelius was rail thin, and based on the state of his tiny body, had been dead for some time. But what started as a story about Aurelius' death turned out to be so much more. He and his siblings had been abandoned in a trash filled home by their mother, Philena Dees. It was 90 degrees INSIDE of the home due to a broken AC unit, and the family hasn't had running water in months. Inside of this hell hole, Aurelius' 8-year-old was being held captive inside of her own bedroom because Philena's pervert ex-boyfriend, Juan de la Cruz, couldn't keep his filthy hands to himself.
