The Case of Shaylyn Ammerman

This week, Drewby and Yergy discuss the tragic case of 22-month-old Shaylyn Ammerman, a beautiful toddler who lived in a house with her extended family in Bloomington, Indiana. On March 24th, 2016, Shaylyn was found to be missing from the bed located in the family's living room. Kyler Parker, an acquaintance of the Ammerman family, was arrested and soon confessed to raping and murdering the toddler before discarding her body in a wooded area. However, what was thought to be an open and shut case, soon became a lot more complicated with shocking allegations came out about the witnesses in the Ammerman home...

The Case of Khaleesi Cuthriell

This week, Drewby and Yergy head to Virginia to discuss the tragic case of Khaleesi Cuthriell, and adorable little girl who didn't have a chance to grow up. After being placed in the custody of a con-artist and her 29 time felon boyfriend, Khaleesi's appearance quickly began changing for the worse in pictures shared on social media. As of the date of this recording in 2024, Khaleesi is still missing and presumed dead, and is thought to be among the rubbish in a 90 thousand cubic acre landfill.

The Case of Nefertiti Harris

This week, Drewby and Yergy head back to Syracuse, New York, to discuss the case of Nefertiti Diamond Harris, a beautiful little girl who was placed in the custody of her loving godmother, Niosha Smith, after her mother, Latasha Mott, was unable to care for her. Nefertiti, who Niosha called "Tuti," thrived in her godmother's care. Unfortunately, she was returned to her mother when she was just just shy of 2 years old. Like many of the children that we've discussed on this channel, CPS failed to intervene when Nefertiti was singled out for abuse, and during the Spring of 2024, the little girl was found buried in a shallow grave in a wooded area near a baseball field.

One of these head wounds was a fracture of the right parietal bone, which measured 8.5 centimeters – that’s a crack almost 3 and ½ inches long on a tiny newborn skull. Her ribs were broken in 71 places and the long bones in her arms and legs were broken in 23 places. Some of the rib fractures showed signs of healing. She was also bruised and battered. The doctor noted five distinct trauma areas on her right arm, six trauma areas to her left leg, and three trauma areas to her right leg. She had five bruises on her face, ten on her scalp and nine on her chest and belly. There were retinal hemorrhages in both eyes, and Dr. Gumpeni said her brain was markedly liquefied. She had old and fresh brain bleeds, as well as old and fresh areas of bleeding on her spinal cord, indicating multiple episodes of injury. The most severe bleed covered the surface of the right half of her brain and extended along the base of her brain on both sides. She had bled so much from her brain that the blood pooled there. Her cause of death was blunt force trauma of the head with subdural hemorrhage and skull fracture. A contributing factor was blunt force trauma to the torso and extremities. Her manner of death was homicide.

The Case of Samuel Olson

This week, Yergy and Drewby head to Texas to discuss the tragic case of Samuel Olson, a little boy whose story has become all too common on this channel... A child is born, the parents separate, and then one (or both) of the parents get involved with a significant other who means nothing but harm to their child. In this case, Samuel's father, Dalton, became involved with a woman named Theresa Balboa. Theresa was no stranger to the court system, having already lost custody of her own children previously. However, in late May of 2021, Samuel went missing, and the last person to see him alive was Theresa. On June 2nd, police confirmed that Samuel's remains had been located inside of a plastic tote in Jasper, Texas. He'd been killed 17 days prior to his 6th birthday.

The Case of Lola James

This week, Drewby and Yergy head to Wale to discuss the tragic case of Lola James, a toddler from Haverfordwest who at the time of our story, was living with her mother, Sinead James, and her mother's boyfriend, Kyle Bevan. On July 17th, 2020 (into the early morning hours of the 18th), Kyle beat little Lola near death, documenting the abuse of his cell phone. Lola passed away at the hospital just days later. Meanwhile, Kyle claimed that the family dog, Jessie, tripped Lola, causing her to tumble down the stairs. This false accusation caused Jessie to be put to sleep, and it would be almost three years before justice would be served.

The Case of Victoria Stafford

This week, Drewby and Yergy head to Canada to discuss one of the country's most tragic stories... the senseless and brutal murder of Victoria "Tori" Stafford. Tori was a spunky little girl who loved Hannah Montana and dressing up for Halloween. Her favorite color was purple, and she had an older brother named Daryn who loved her very much. On April 8th, 2009, Tori was walking home from school when she was approached by 18-year-old Terri-Lynne McClintic, who offered to show her a Shih Tzu puppy. Instead, she and her boyfriend, 28-year-old Michael  Rafferty abducted the little girl, after which she was raped, murdered, and dumped beneath a rock pile in a remote location.
